I have four members in my family. I have two sisters, my mom and my dad. My mom is uneducated and my dad can read and write little by little. I could not believe that I could have the opportunity to finish my university.
Since I started school, I've never had enough money to buy tasty food like other kids. Furthermore, even with my school uniform, I rarely get to wear new clothes from the market because I normally get second-hand clothing from a neighbor or cousin.
Â
?Our family did not expect that we could complete in high school. They could not support us in many area in my life.Â
Looking back on my high school years, I couldn't believe I could finish it because a high grade 12 examination required the students to study part-time. We have to pay for that. But we asked teacher to study for free. It is not easy because they don’t feel good with our request.
Â
?After complete high school, I am so stress because we could not continue our study. Honestly, I was so jealous of my friends that they have a chance to continue university unlike me.
Fortunately, Giving It Back To Kids has provide me for the scholarship. Living in GIBTK is a great blessing. I have learned a lot of things. GIBTK transformed me from a person with a social phobia to a brave person. Now I can go outside alone.
Â
?I learn about the social awareness and self-awareness which boost my confidence to communicate with people better.
Now I am looking for the job opportunity to fit with my skill. And I am so appreciative of all of your beautiful hearts, kindness, generosity, with all your support since I just started to live here. I can see my future little by little? and I'm going to see the light soon.
Â
Thank you so much for giving me a life of hope for transforming my future.
