15 years...?
Today's story is about Le Thi Bich Nguyet who could gain access to GIBTK's heart program 15 years ago. 
 
It was 15 years ago when Giving It Back To Kids first learned about a girl with heart disease of atrial septal defect named Le Thi Bich Nguyet. We didn’t hesitate to fund her heart surgery to cure such a fatal defect. After that, GIBTKs also sponsored her with a scholarship so that she could pursue her dream.
 
With a lot of joy, Nguyet married and now has a happy family with a responsible husband and a healthy son. Nguyen is currently working at a mini mart and would love to find a job as a receptionist as what she used to do before the pandemic in the time to come. She is enjoying her life the most because no concerns about heart disease bother her.
 
To date, GIBTK has funded 1,747 life-saving heart surgeries.
